Not long ago, I watched the movie "The Bucket List" starring Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson. A nice feel-good flick with a message that says it isn't too late to live life to the fullest. It got me thinking about the things I would like to do before I "kick the bucket", and though my actual list is much longer, this is the condensed version. What's on YOUR bucket list?
~Ride across the USA on horseback
~Learn to ice skate
~Visit Italy
~Scuba dive
~See the Louvre
~See the rain forest
~Live without financial debt
~Make peace with the universe
~Have a lead part in a Western movie
~Save a life
~Be the boss
~Explore a castle
~Move to Hawaii
~Go swimming in the ocean
~Go back to New Orleans and do the complete tourist thing
~Discover the secret to happiness
~Visit Cherokee, NC again
~Take a long cruise
~Be a VIP at the Academy Awards
~Ride a mule to the bottom of the Grand Canyon
~Take a balloon ride at sunrise
~Visit all 50 States
~Win a multi-million dollar lottery
~Open an animal rescue center
~Skinny Dip in the Fountain of Youth

I have been playing golf since I was six, now 53, and I have yet to get that first hole-in-one. I could be the longest member of the "Who's played the longest w/out an ace" club!
I have advised my boys (and girl!) to get started on their bucket list even though they are in their eary 20's, late teens...that's when it is really fun!

BUT:
As we mature the very fact that we're more conscious of the sands thru the hourglass, can imbue mundane activities with meaning.
